Always like to see new developers coming through that actually have the passion and drive to learn how to make a game, no matter how simple it may seem relative to other current C64 output (such as Witchsoft, Haplo, Icon, GriffonSoft etc).
My first ever game was a simple multiple choice text adventure based on Fighting Fantasy books, released as PD back in 1991. I was ten, and it was truly awful. This is actually a decent little game, and it warms my heart knowing you've created it old school, with a drive to use the actual machine!
Thanks Mat! Seeing such high quality software available, it was hard to get this to a point I felt it was worth releasing. I would have loved to add music and a lot of other features, but I set myself a deadline and this is where it ends :-)
Well done in creating your very first game the old school way. It is nice to see developers produce something on actual C64 hardware instead of cross-dev and AI tools. This was how I started to develop C64 games in machine code back in 1999, but my first ever C64 game was a lot worse than what you did. But I did it using the A sprite editor, a charset from a charset collection, DMC V4.0B and an Action Replay MKVI with a built in machine code monitor. :)

Great game, thanks.
Glad you like it! And thank you for posting the video :-)
